Jaywick Sands Performing Arts is a community-led group created by the Jaywick Sands Community Forum to bring people together through music, theatre, and performance across the Tendring area.

Thanks to generous funding from the Rural England Prosperity Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund, we’ve been able to purchase all the equipment needed to launch and grow this exciting initiative.

​

We host open mic nights, charity events, and community performances, giving local people of all ages the opportunity to share their talents, build confidence, and connect with others. Whether it’s singing, dancing, comedy, poetry, or drama, everyone is welcome to take part — or simply come along and enjoy the show!

Jaywick Sands Performing Arts also works closely with other community groups throughout Tendring, offering support, collaboration, and entertainment to help strengthen the area’s vibrant community spirit.

Jaywick Sands Performing Arts is about more than performing — it’s about creating opportunities, celebrating local talent, and using the power of the arts to bring joy and unity to communities across the Tendring district.
