New Recording Studio at Jaywick Sands Community Forum

We’re delighted to announce an exciting new addition to Jaywick Sands Community Forum, our very own recording studio, made possible thanks to funding from The National Lottery.

This funding has enabled us to create a dedicated space in our office where local people can explore their creativity, develop new skills and bring their ideas to life through sound and music.

Record, Edit & Mix Your Music.

Our new studio is available for local artists, singers, musicians and bands to use. Whether you’re recording your first song or working on an established music project, the studio provides a space where you can record, edit and mix your music.

The setup includes microphones, studio monitor speakers, headphones, a MIDI keyboard and recording equipment, allowing us to accommodate everything from solo performers to bands.

More Than Just a Music Studio

The studio is already proving that it can be used for much more than music.

It has been used for recording poetry and spoken word, as well as recording children’s books and stories, helping to bring them to life in a completely different way.

We hope to see the studio used for many more creative and community projects in the future.

Creating Opportunities in Jaywick Sands

Having a recording studio here in the community gives people an opportunity to try something they may never have had access to before.

We are extremely grateful for the funding from The National Lottery, which has helped make this new facility possible and allows us to continue creating opportunities for people in Jaywick Sands.

If you’re a singer, musician, band, poet, storyteller or have another creative audio project in mind, we’d love to hear from you.

Get in touch with Jaywick Sands Community Forum to find out more about using our new recording studio.
