About Us
Jaywick Sands Community Forum was started because Jaywick Sands does not have its own parish council. It was created to bring local people together, share ideas and support the community.
There are now plans for Jaywick Sands to have a parish council in the future, but the Forum continues to play an important role in supporting local people and bringing the community together.
We work with residents, volunteers, local groups, charities and organisations to help people find support, take part in activities and feel more connected to the community around them.
What We Do
We help local people in lots of different ways, including:
* Supporting residents and families
* Helping people find food and essential support
* Running and promoting community activities
* Supporting health and wellbeing
* Working with local services and organisations
* Creating ways for people to get involved
Supporting Our Community
Over the years, Jaywick Sands Community Forum has worked with and supported a number of local groups, projects and organisations that help bring people together and provide opportunities for residents.
We are proud to have played a part in supporting community activity across Jaywick Sands and to continue working alongside local groups and organisations today.
Working Together
Community is at the heart of everything we do.
We believe that by working together, sharing ideas and supporting one another, we can make a real difference.
Whether you need some help, want to volunteer, have an idea for the area or simply want to know what is happening locally, you are always welcome to get in touch.
