Whilst Pancake Day has crêped up, Tendring District Council’s (TDC) team at Sunspot in Jaywick Sands have been busy whisking up a pancake extravaganza.
The Sunspot will be hosting a free Pancake Day event in conjunction with Jaywick Sands Community Forum and sponsored by Rainy Bakes.
Everyone is invited to attend to enjoy a complimentary delicious pancake and take part in some flipping fun on Tuesday, 13 February from 4-6pm.
There are three competitions taking place with a children's flipping competition (sponsored by Buddies Barbers), the biggest pancake flip competition (sponsored by Sunspot Café), and a pancake race (sponsored by Blingrus & Luxescent Studio).
Ivan Henderson, TDC Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Economic Growth, Regeneration and Tourism, was delighted by the event and encouraged residents to come along.
